Recently we took at trip to Iceland for our honey moon. Upon arrival, no one was at the desk, we called a number at the front desk and had to wait 10 mins for someone to come greet us. The person that came was someone filling in for the manager and checked us in. We went to the room and that’s the instant I knew I couldn’t stay. It was our last day in Iceland and from the pictures the place looked great. It was not. The room was way too small for me and my wife. The sink for the bathroom was in the living space next to a desk. There was no view. The pictures are a lie. Right after walking into the room we went right back to the front desk to see if we could get a different room or a refund, no rooms were available and we were told that the manager would have to approve the refund, and to send an email to them. We didn’t hear anything back so we booked a room at a different hotel. We never got an answer from the manager and we were not issued a refund. STAY AWAY.

We arrived here after a long journey, during inhospitable weather - and it ticked all the boxes really. Even though the rooms are a little dated, they're clean and decent - the beds were super comfortable (best nights sleep during our stay in Iceland).|The location is a little exposed, but that means some lovely views. And everything that we needed was provided. |They have a really nice (and reasonably priced) restaurant onsite, with views of the marina. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they offer a free, very efficient, airport transfer to Keflavik. I can't complain for the price we paid, and I'd definitely stay there again.
