It's a funky little place with lots of character. We stayed there at the beginning and end of our trip on extended layovers so we could rest up and explore a bit. You can tell that they put thought into the rooms, and try to make them as nice as possible. A bit eclectic, but so am I. We did have to wait several hours to get into our room, but were told by the host to head to The Library at the Park Inn, which was okay. It was a bit of a long walk, and very cold for my older traveling companion. We would have really appreciated being able to at least sit in the lobby/living room to wait. We were able to get very comfy and the beds were very nice. The place was really clean and had some essentials to make you feel more comfy like: tea, pasta, pots, pans, a sink/kitchenette (in one of the rooms upstairs). The bathroom in the second room we stayed in was really modern and I liked it a lot. The upstairs room smelled quite strong because it had a scent-thing and caused some trouble to my asthma, so I just put it away under a towel, and it was okay. Just a heads up to people sensitive to smells. We were able to borrow a converter, and requested to use it when we got back for the second stay. I specifically asked about this because I didn't want to cause an inconvenience. The guy told me it would be there for us to use. When we arrived, I called to ask for it, and was met with frustration by the female owner. She agreed to bring it by, but made sure to let me know that she wasn't happy about it. She was abrasive, and got loud with us. I wouldn't have mentioned it if I didn't already see that another guest had a similar experience. WATCH YOUR STEP because some of the thresholds are quite high, and we banged our feet up a bit. The guy owner was super chill, and nice. No issue with him. It's a good place to stay, and overall I was pleased with this place to lay my head.
