Arrived for 3 nights and on arrival asked if a sea view room upgrade would be available, arranged immediately for nominal charge (best decision as this room on the top floor was excellent!). A lot of comments RE shower, I have to say we loved it, it's basically a wet room, lots of space... Breakfast really superb, best scrambled eggs and bacon EVER... Staff we met on reception very helpful and polite. Finally the location, doesn't get better than this, great sea view either from the room or sky bar... As with most bars, take advantage of the Happy hour period, still expensive but on par with Iceland prices...

Bring earplugs. Can hear everything on the street. Had a couple sleepless nights. But the location was great and the bed and room were as expected. Breakfast was good and the happy hour and views from the top floor are the best! Staff were pleasant and helpful. Just say no to Room 109, with a housekeeping closet next door plus the lobby bathroom...lots of door slamming, but they allowed us to move. Would stay again with earplugs and also an upgrade to a harbor/water view room.
