A man and child walked into our room without knocking while I was changing. It was extremely startling and unsettling. The door was locked so they must have had a key card. When I went to reception they just said "not to worry" and that it was probably a maid. We had just arrived and they did not knock or have any cleaning supplies. That is completely unacceptable and strange. I felt very gaslit by the bald man at reception. He acted like it was totally normal for staff to walk in without knocking with a small child. If you stay here do the deadbolt every time. Edit: the owner has replied that I arrived early which I did not. I arrived at 2:00pm which is the stated checkin time and did not enter the room until 2:15. I have the GPS data on my phone to prove it. The person who came into the room did NOT knock before entering and did NOT announce themselves. Threatening to sue is ridiculous because everything I've said is true.
