Mixed review for this hotel. The location is great, steps away from the main section in Capri. The entryway is beautiful and the grounds are quiet. The staff we had contact with were helpful and accommodating. However, the room left a lot to be desired. Musty smell, and ancient decor and technology. We had a small courtyard, but it was useless as it looked onto nothing. We were expecting a much nicer and more modern room at this price point. The included breakfast was pretty good.

I cannot understand for the life of me, how this hotel would be considered 4 stars. I'd give it two, max. On the plus side, it's right in town and the lobby is nice. Our garden view room had mold in the bathroom and was in need of paint. The lighting was a very bright and unpleasant, not "soft white". The bed was the hardest I've ever (tried to) sleep in, more like a box spring. AC made a loud clunking sound anytime it turned off. The view was part garden, part dilapidated building. Hallways were narrow, unlit, and in need of maintenance. Pool bathroom was gross, no toilet seat. Plus one star for the location and very helpful, friendly staff. Otherwise, a true tourist trap. There are many better options nearby for the price.
