Lovely clean, quiet guesthouse in an excellent location. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating! We stayed in a room with a private bathroom with a nice shower. AC was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Recommend for travellers looking for affordable accommodation close to Catania attractions.

This place is both a gem and oasis right in the middle of Catania. The property is beautiful in its own right, but the location is absolutely unbeatable. It’s a close walk to most sightseeing spots, the bus to the airport and many sweet neighborhoods. It’s also a short walk to the departure point for many Etna tours. We stayed in both the standard and the superior room. While the standard room is perfectly nice (and convinced us to return again to the hotel at the end of our trip), I really think the upgrade to superior room is absolutely worth it. (This is from the perspective of someone who doesn’t typically upgrade.) Besides the lovely furnishing and beautiful painting on the ceiling, the bed and pillows and linens in the superior rooms are incredibly comfortable. You also really feel like you’re experiencing the best of Sicily even while you’re in your room. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I wouldn’t hesitate.
