A concrete jungle. Filthy food, bathroom shower only a health hazard, very expensive at Euro 860 B&B per night. Booked 3 nights & left after 2 but still charged for 3! Moved to Royal e Golf which is a genuine 5 star at €460 per night. Mont Blanc is not Grand, I would rate it 3 star at best. Avoid!

Visited Grand Hotel Courmayeur for dinner twice during the last week of February. Out first visit was ok; decent food, decent service etc. When we went back it was a complete disaster. I will not expand on the fact that service was non existant, ”they could not find the key to the Gaja wine” and last but not least the risotto, the gnocchi and beef shoulder were inedible. The main event of the night was the fact that myself, my better half and the oldest daughter were FOOD POISONED. Us three ate the same things. At around 3am we all got sick. The other two kids had other food and were fine. The day after I contacted the hotel and to be honest the response was almost as worse as the sickness. The COO of the Mythos Hotel Group denies this can happen at their place; he has asked us for stool samples; threatend with litigation if we speak up and more. Please, DO NOT VISIT this place. It is a scam.
