Baglio was the most amazing hotel experience we have ever had. From check in to check out, Brunella was so attentive and accommodating to all of our needs. Her english was flawless and we could not have survived booking taxis or transfers without her help. We got married here and had multiple vendors passing in and out. The staff made sure we and our vendors were taken care of with whatever we needed. The hotel restaurant staff and bartenders made special arrangements for those with food allergies and still delivered some of the best dinners and breakfasts I have ever had. The hotel itself is breathtaking. the landscaping and decor should be on a postcard. We loved our experience and cannot wait to be back.
Terrible experience. We arrived at 9pm. At 9:45pm our waitress finally took our order (we tried repeatedly to order with other waitresses who told us to get in touch with our designated waitress). At 10pm we had our antipasti; not bad but small portions. At 10:45 - 1h45 after we arrived ! - our primi piatti finally arrived. Mine was fine but my wife did not get what she ordered. Unsure that our waitress spoke any English, we showed her on the menu what we had ordered. The waitress agreed that she had mixed the order and promised the right dish within five minutes. Another dish finally arrived. But still not the one my wife had ordered! This is where we drew the line; we asked for the check. We left at 11pm and my wife had only had appetisers. The evening was ruined by a very unprofessional (and not too friendly) service. I put one star because they did not charge us.
