Stayed in a Triple Room for a night in late May 2023. Room was comfortable, clean and nice smelling with modern facilities. However, the shower area in my room was a little dark with minimal lighting. Free parking with a pass provided by the hotel in any blue carpark lots in Gaeta (best if there’s any empty lot in Piazza Commestibili). Staff provided clear instructions on how to access the hotel entrance and room. He was also flexible and helpful to allow us to utilise the free parking pass for a couple of hours after our check out. It would be a little inconvenient to get to the hotel with heavy luggages. You would first have to climb up a flight of stairs to get to the hotel. Once in, you would still need to climb up flights of stairs (depending on the location of your room). There were no lifts in the hotel. Nonetheless, a good stay in the central part of Gaeta old town.
An Un-manned hotel, it was a bit hard to find because it's not on a street, you have to climb a set of stairs to get to it. We were asked to give our personal information thru an app that we're not familiar with to check in. The guy who eventually came didn't seem to happy with us, as if we inconvenienced him. Although there was an AC and a control for the AC, we couldn't get the thing to run so no AC as the room was 28.6c. To leave, I had to reach through the gate, feel for the number pad on the other side and enter the code blindly to open the gate. There's not much to see in that area, my suggestion would be to book a room at a hotel along the beach and get more amenities and a human to check you in.
