Overall a good stay. Clean rooms, good bathroom facilities. Friendly staff, I found that Alessia was particularly helpful and spoke great English. She was even happy to open up the shop so I could buy water (which is a lot cheaper than buying at the bar and shop normally only open between 8-10 in the morning). People seemed to enjoy the Pool games and fitness regime. If like me you enjoy your wine, its far cheaper to buy from the shop and keep in your fridge, so bring a corkscrew. Only 2 real things unimpressed with. We don't tend to have breakfast as a family, but one morning I approached the suited guy who lets people in for breakfast to ask if i could grab a banana. I was told 'we are not a takeaway sir'. Fair enough then. Also, I will now always take with a pinch of salt when I see the words 'Free shuttle service' on a hotel advert. Because when you have an 8 seater mini bus and 20 mixed European people waiting, you might not be getting a lift to town for some time. They did have more than 1 minibus, but rarely did I see them using both. In fact one day we paid for a taxi back, rather than wait a long time, which was 15 euro, but prompt, phone numbers on the sign near the drop off point.
