The hotel is set on the edge of the city , our first impression wasnt great , it looks more like an office block than a hotel. Once inside things didnt get any better , the interior is very cheap looking, the decor is very Ikea there is nowere to sit and relax in comfort, not really what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The staff are non welcoming and void of any personallity. The hotel didnt have a resturant as advertised. Snacks were avialble from the bar area which was often unmanned , we had to call staff to serve us. I asked for a menu and I was told that they were mainly frozen meals and sandwitches and if I wanted a proper meal there was a place 5 mins up the road. Breakfast was a shambles a very loud room with only one coffee machine which meant you had to queue to get a cup , the cups were tiny so many people were filling two cups which added to the wait. The food itself was terrible. The rooms are tired and dirty , pillows are flat. This hotel really should be re-evaluated, as a frequent traveller I would say 2 stars would be fitting, 3 would be generous. The best thing about the hotel is the access to the P3 metro line which is a short walk , you can be in central MIlan in 25 mins. The other good thing is the safe underground parking although you have to figure it all out for yourself, to get in you have to use the intercom you state your name and room number so at the end of your stay you get a bill. |Would I return , not a chance and my heart aches for anyone ending up here on holiday , it was an ordeal for a 3 day buiness trip.
