Milano Castello Luxury Apartment

We initially planned to stay elsewhere in Milan in a 4 star hotel but due to the positive location in the center of historical Milan and positive reviews of the Hotel Milano Castello we decided to change. We reserved a superior room with twin beds on the ground floor. We loved the room which was meticulously clean. Both the bathroom and bedroom were enormous with high ceilings. But the best asset of this hotel is the staff!! The staff at reception, the barman and the lady running the breakfast room were all amazing. All were very friendly, always available and very helpful. We also loved the breakfast which was top class. We particularly appreciated the variety of food available (especially the "cafe au lait" which the breakfast lady prepared for us on request! The fresh fruit was also very welcome). Other positive aspects of this hotel are the art collection by Romano Rui which we found magnificent as well as the happy hour drinks served every night of our stay. We can't wait to return to this gem of a hotel which must rate as the best 3 star hotel we have ever stayed in!!
