My review is a little late but I absolutely had to review this hotel as my stay with Vico Milano in September was perfect and this is largely due to the hotel and it's staff. To begin with, the location is great. Most of the city felt highly walkable from Vico Milano. It also feels very safe and secure. The hotel's common areas are absolutely beautiful, it looks like it's straight out of architectural digest...and yet it's comfortable and welcoming. My room was gorgeous, with a large, very comfortable bed. It was super clean and well-appointed. That said, I'm nuts about bathrooms and this one was PERFECT. It was so beautiful with great toiletries and very soft towels. I don't like staying in huge, institutional accommodations and this was definitely a more enjoyable experience than many of the pricier, impersonal hotels in Milan. I will definitely stay here again whenever I return to Milan. Pro tip: Grab a cocktail at the bar during their aperitivo, the bartender makes great cocktails and is super friendly!

This hotel was not only the highlight of my trip, but the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The location is right in the heart of Milan with easy walking to attractions, but distant enough from all the tourist hubbub. The hotel is a dream with its beautiful design from top to bottom and the room and bed were extremely comfortable for a perfect night’s sleep. The aesthetic and location of this hotel alone make it a great stay, but the people who work here are what make this place memorable and feel like home. Melissa went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous breakfast, especially when we were tight for time before our flight home. Malik, the bartender, made killer cocktails and gave us a Milanese dinner recommendation that was the best meal of our trip. Luciano, the manager of the hotel, wrote personal notes to our room every night of our stay and helped us figure out timing, and arrange a taxi, to the airport for our flight home. They are all incredible! If you’re looking for a hotel that will feel like a second home once you leave, I highly recommend staying at the Vico! I’m already thinking about the next time I’ll be back (hopefully soon)! Thank you to all the staff for making it such an unforgettable stay.
