I think that some of the other reviews must be fake, or people standards are so low for such a high price. The location is pretty nice, close to the stores and cafes, however the hotel and the room itself was run down, not kept well and simply dirty and dusty. I was so disappointed with the cleanliness, how not maintained the hotel is. It has a great potential but they definitely don't invest it this place. The pictures show something else, so don't expect to get such a nice room. I wish I knew this earlier. I would never book it if I did. Edit: Seems like the owners don't like my review. To clarify, yes the room is not cleaned up to my standards. I have pictures of the dirty carpet if anyone wants to see. Your pictures on the website don't show the true condition of the place. It ruined my experience in Venice, because your pictures promised something else than it was. Yes, I appreciate the fact that you wanted me to switch rooms, but it was no better than the first one. The rooms are not maintained well, the furniture doesn't match each other, so the place doesn't give the feel and atmosphere described on the website. Maybe 50 years ago it was like you describe, but not one. Additionally, there was a concert next to the place until 11 p.m and having a small child who couldn't sleep added to the negative experience.
