Some of the staff like the male members of staff and Rosa were polite and nice. They wouldn't necessarily go the extra mile to help you but they were ok with some requests. However, there was one younger, female member of staff that was a little bit rude and would behave as though you were bothering her when you asked for even basic assistance. The rooms were spacious but the aircon stopped working after a while. One staff member did to his credit, try to help but was unable to resolve it. Bathroom flooded every time I took a shower and the towel holder was broken. I tried to tell a staff member but it was the younger female member of staff on reception and she did not care. Location wise this hotel is fairly close to all the major attractions. Not the best neighborhood but still ok - I've seen worse. Breakfast buffet is alright. Some nice choices. I'm not 100% sure I'd stay again, I do see what another reviewer meant when he noted the 'coldness' and 'detachment' of staff. For most, they were polite but not necessarily warm, while the younger lady was not even polite. If you are looking for a place to crash for a day or two to see the sights and sounds it is ok. Nice enough but I think you can find better value for money elsewhere.

Safe location, cafeteria type restaurant, cheap, cheap laundry facilities, well appointed newly furnished rooms. Part of this is college accommodation but that did not have any bearing on the stay. Thoroughly recommend.
