Good but not 5 starts||Biggest plus || - POOL AREA - we travelled in 2023 when New splash park was added making massive difference - can say best pool for kids and young teenagers with great water temperature. |- Amazing place if you would like to try glamping.|- Stable with very rare opportunity to try horse ridding at the beach, amazing staff working there.|- Great staff at the pool bar with nice pizza||Biggest minus ||- Mosquitos - they make it IMPOSSIBLE to visit the beach during the sunset, whole campsite is quiet badly affected by them as well as the pool area from round 5/6pm. We used Jungle formula strength 4 and it protected us from being bitten but still could see clouds of them flying round us.|- Only one shop with very limited stock and high prices (other shop Alli - about 25 minutes drive in small town ) plus one restaurant for evening meal with small portion of French fries costing 5 euro.|- Entertainment was very limited, maybe because the season just stared, but seen more amazing performances in Camping Marina di Venezia at the same time last year|- Campsite is beautiful with natural beauty but next to our house was uncovered field with overflowing rubbish coming out of the bins, old pool furniture, pipes etc... which spoiled the experience, and not something you would expect to find in 5 star resort||The campsite is in the middle of the Nature park so if you like peace and quiet for 7 days it is amazing but if you like to visit places and do some sightseeing during your holiday probably it is not the place for you as closest place to visit is about 1hr 40 min away , like Venice or Padua...
It was the first time here.||3 Pools are very nice and the village has a lot of services..||the restaurant is not so good, unfortunately(vote for pizza: 5 out of 10). the employees are nice and kind but without facial mask(covid period)||I found the clearness (initial one)was not sufficient. I passed again some disinfectant(due to covid19) because it was not clean as I imagined. I found dust on shelves. I advise the team of barricata to clean better and use chairs in plastic not in fabric (the chairs were stained by previous guests)There are a lot of mosquitos even if disinfestations passed frequently. The supermarket has too high prices! Not fair! 5eur/kg for apples or 7eur/kg for kiwi is too high!! We went to supermarket out of village but the fridge is too small to store all... these are negative points. Positive are: a lot of services (hot showers, pools, bar, near beach, possibility to find new friends (my children played a lot with other children) , houses Corfu', we choose, even if they are small, they are nice and full of everything (air conditioning, shower, beds, sheets, kitchen, dishes, glasses, forks, knifes, small fridge etc). I suggest to bring towels carpet for the bathroom, mop floors that are not provided by village, and obviously soap, dishsoap, shampoo and all personal thing. We visited Chioggia , called small Venice, and it's beautiful!it has the oldest clock of the world! We visit Scardovari bay very nice at sunset and dawn.there is also a trip with boat to see the the natural park of Po river with its animals and fauna. Comacchio also it's to visit. the tipical plat is eel, mussels, clam (all grown there around), and also carnaroli rice, since there are fields of rice there. the beach is near to the village and clean (the sea had blue flag, it means that it 's clean of some bacteria, and infact we see a lot of small fishes!) I vote all the holiday good because me and my family had fun and we visit nice places and we eaten delicious things!
