My wife and I recently stayed here on our honeymoon. This hotel has world class views and a great location for walks into town. It’s dragged down by a few big red flags. The staff seemed cold and dismissive, which is a shame because we found most of the bars and restaurants in the area to be very hospitable. We stayed at two other hotels that recognized our honeymoon, and Covo did not. Minor gripe but if other hotels are willing to recognize a special occasion, and Covo doesn’t - then it should be mentioned. If you come to this hotel by car, be prepared to arrange a porter service with the hotel ahead of time, or you’ll have to haul your luggage down several blocks. The porter service is 5€ per bag, which is something you’d expect is a complimentary service for a 5 star hotel. Lastly the water heater in the rooms was in need of repair. Our shower and sink would randomly send scolding hot water, making it hard to use the facilities. The rooftop pools are nice, not out of this world but great for lounging in between daily activities. The bar upstairs is a plus, and they have a fairly robust drink menu. The morning continental breakfast is also good, plenty of options including a mimosa station.
