This hotel is the most adorable boutique hotel! Rooms and facilities were immaculate and service was 5 star all the way around. The ONLY downside is that the hotel and its views face north. It is still beautiful views but faces into the hills instead of facing south to view the traditional Positano town view and the rest of the Amalfi coast. The sea and it’s spectacular colors are still amazingly visible and when using stairs to get into the main part of town the walk is very doable. The concierge staff was BEYOND accommodating and very accessible, friendly and so personable and helpful. The restaurant was also great! I would 100% recommend this as a hidden gem. We absolutely loved our stay here!!

Staying in all of Praiano, Sorrento and Positano whilst visiting the Amalfi Coast, we would have to say that this was unfortunately our least favourite stay of all three. The price of the rooms does not in my opinion match the standard of accommodation that you get rather it reflects the fact that you are paying for the convenience of staying in Positano rather than neighbouring towns. Overall the rooms were nice but nothing amazing. Maintenance in the rooms does however needs some attention (one wall in the room was clearly water damaged, another badly scuffed from suitcases, the hairdryer was broken, the sink tap didn’t turn on or off without force and the bath drain didn’t work very well meaning you were essentially showering in ankle deep dirty water). I would have also expected a shower rather than a shower over bath for the price I was paying. Finally the hotel is across several buildings and it is obvious that those other than the main building are much older and in need of a face lift. Maybe it’s a different experience if you are in the main building. If I had my time over, I would have just day tripped Positano and extended my stay in either Praiano or Sorrento as the level of accommodation is of a much higher standard (and cheaper!) I will however say that the lady that sits on reception during the day is exceptional at her job and goes out of her way to do everything and anything for you. Well done!
