Arrived on a Sunday at 1.00 p.m. No bar, no food available. However room was ready but nothing in mini bar to eat. Bar didn't open until 3.00 p.m. Only serves drinks, crisps and ice creams. Restaurant didn't open until 7.30p.m. Lunch not available any day at resort.|Room alright and bed comfortable. Hot water supply very erratic. Bathroom fittings not great. Had to ask for kettle, mugs and spoons to make coffees/teas.|Housekeeping team good and cheerful.|Breakfast deadly, totally lacking in imagination. Resort restaurant served good food but wonder when the menu was last reviewed/changed. Waiting staff warm and friendly in the main.|Pool area good and pool itself not heated but in the hot weather that was not a problem. Adequate sunbeds, chairs and umbrellas. Excellent beach close by resort.|A car is a must as places to eat in immediate vicinity of resort scarce. Also one will be needed to explore and there's lots to do and see. Key thing to know is that Sicily is the biggest island in the Mediterranean ( about the same size as Wales) so getting across to say Siracusa or Taormina is a three hour drive there and then back
