Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel - A Leading Hotel of the World

We stayed at the Annatara Hotel as part of a travel package. ||||At first, I was hesitant to select this hotel because if you look at a map of Rome it appears to be quite some distance from the major sights and it is located right by Termini Station. I checked the reviews before selecting this hotel and we were not disappointed.||||Yes, you are three minutes from Termini Station and the traffic on the Plaza Republicca can be a bit daunting but the Trevi Fountain is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The Pantheon, is approximately a 25 minute walk. The Forum and the Colloseum are also within walking distance! The only time we used a cab while staying here was to get to the Vatican in time for a tour. If you do not feel like walking, there is a Metro stop directly across the street and getting a cab was a breeze no matter the time of day.||||The staff at this hotel are top notch. Everyone, whether it was a door man, concierge, housekeeping or security never failed to say Buongiorno or Buonasera when they saw us. I don't remember the last time a hotel offered turn down service, but every night, like clockwork, a member of housekeeping came to our room to make certain everything was in order. ||||I would also like to give a shout out to Isabel at the concierge's desk. She was most patient and helpful and always took time to answer our questions or make a dinner reservation for us.||||Our only quibble is that we stayed in a room that was located in a building adjacent to the main edifice and when I say that we had no view, I mean we literally did not have a view out of our room. The french doors opened to an enclosed area where the walls were over 8 feet tall. The only source of sunlight was from the top of this enclosure. ||||If you are looking for an elegant and luxurious hotel in Rome, the Anantara will certainly live up to your expectations.
