Simply wonderful. I cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough. Lucrezia, Emmanuel and their family are so attentive to details. This amazing château, passed down through the generations in their family, has been lovingly restored and cared for. Each of its rooms has a story to tell. The decor features antiques, paintings, restorations and is very chic and understated. We were in Suite number one, which was stunning and featured a bathroom to die for. We were instantly made to feel welcome, and Lucrezia went above and beyond in terms of making transportation arrangements for us from the cruise terminal and to the airport. The morning breakfast was the best we have had on our 12 day travels. Many of the principal ingredients are sourced from their farm which is nearby, and you can taste the freshness and the careful preparations. By all means, do yourselves a favor and choose this hotel. You will be so glad you did, as are we.

We were so happy with this hotel! Everything is wonderful. Nelson, his wife and Lucrezia work VERY hard to make sure you have an amazing time here and they treat you like family. The rooms are very large and have a stocked fridge and a Nespresso coffee maker. The breakfast is hands down one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever experienced. A wide variety of tarts, quiches, grilled veggies, cheeses, meats, eggs (with olive oil and sea salt - YUM) and bacon. Nelson bakes fresh things every day!!! They got us amazing tour guides and arranged for car service to and from the airport for a very reasonable fee. We will 100% come back to this gem of a hotel.
