Beautiful Castle and such a privilege to stay there. The family and staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food and breakfast were delicious. A tour of the wine celler is a must as is the gorgeous wine especially the Prosseco.
We are in the Treviso area in Italy, where Roncade, a little town is situated with its castle. Entering the big gate, we face first the lovely garden with the castle behind. On the right, instead, we find the visitable cellar, with a huge open patio where light lunch can be organized, with some good pasta, typical local cheese called Asiago, some tasty pies, with coffee and crostata at ghe end. Of course, the meal is accompanied by home made wine and of course, the Prosecco, the pride of the area.
