We were on the train from Rome to San Benedetto del Tronto when I contacted Silvia about a 3 day rental. The response was rapid, friendly, and very helpful. She generously arranged to have her mother, Anna, collect us at the train station. This was such a godsend because we arrived after dark and had no idea of the area. It was a quick drive to the B&B, less than 5 minutes. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly faces of Silvia and her handsome young son. They gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked. The kitchen was very well stocked with ample breakfast items. There were different cereals, pastries, breakfast spreads, juice, milk, tea, coffee, sweeteners etc.. The private room consisted of a king sized bed, and twin bunk beds and included 2 big, fluffy pillows per person, which is a HUGE bonus in Italy. We were all in agreement the beds were very comfortable. There was a flat screen TV, a tea kettle with complimentary tea bags, and a dish of sweets on the dresser. The bathroom had a sink, toilet, bidet, and a heavenly shower- the water pressure was amazing. That was the most I've enjoyed a shower in ages! There was a private balcony with a table and two chairs, overlooking the main street in town- a great place to enjoy in the evening.( Located in the central part of town, anything you may need is footsteps away.) Everything was spotlessly clean, and every detail considered. If you're planning a trip to San Benedetto, definitely check out Mare d'Amare. We loved our time there, and fell in love with the hosts. They are truly gracious, friendly, and lovely people! ❤
