Decent hotel. My room look nothing like the photos (small window looking onto scaffolding). Friendly staff who were helpful. Best thing about the hotel is the electric shuttle into Sorrento town (there is nothing immediately near this hotel - no shops restaurants etc), tho it’s €10 per stay and €10 per ride for any friends of yours who aren’t staying at hotel). Train station is 2 min away though. Probably wouldn’t stay here again considering the high cost but was comfortable. Breakfast was decent (fresh juice, pastries, sandwiches, eggs). Good sized room and bathroom but very tiny shower (1 square meter). Not sure why it’s called Unconventional, everything about this place was entirely conventional.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Unconventional Sorrento Hotel. The hotel is so clean and beautifully decorated. The room was amazing, bed was comfortable and the views were sensational. The breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options to choose from the menu. The hotel is located 150 metres from the railway station (Sant'Agnello) which was only 1 stop to the Sorrento station. The bus was also a short walk away. The alleyways were filled with character and it was such a joy walking to our public transport each day. The most wonderful part of our stay were the incredible team of staff. Everyone we spoke to was kind, cheerful and willing to answer any questions. We would highly recommend this fabulous hotel to anyone wanting to visit The Amalfi Coast!
