Sold as a five Star hotel. I don’t think it had the finishing touches I would expect with regard to finish of areas. Although bedrooms were good, I felt the swimming areas were not 100% clean. Also breakfast lacked variety and quality foods
NEVER AGAIN We stayed in this hotel at the end of July 23. When you notice upon arrival that hotelstaff is parking on the same parking as guests, you become aware immediately that you are not in a 5*. Please note that this so-called self pretended 5* is nothing more than normal 3*. WHO has given 5 stars to this property?????However rates are 5* ( € 1000 per night for 2 rooms in BB is way over for this hotel. It is clear that this was an old structure slightly refurbished in a very cheap way: Welcome to the 80-ies and 90-ies... at reception, breakfastroom (which is more a canteen then an area for breakfast.), elevators, ... Non working elevators, stained carpets in the corridors, a ridiculous old and smal outdoor pool, broken and worn out terrace tiles at the pool, cheap seats, old umbrellas... POOR, very POOR Beach and beach accomodation has to be shared with guest from other low profile accomodations on the same area. Beach bar poor stocked, no food. Hotel is advertising on "beach sports" ... yes they do have 3 conoes, 1 surfboard and 1 SAIL for it from 30 years old ( I AM SERIOUS) which is only displayed upon insisting... stair rail on the way to the beach was broken and was left as such for the next couple of days. God knows what the 2 Salvataggi at the beach and the 2 persons at "BEACHSPORT" info table were doing all day, but beach was not cleaned, guests were fishing themselves tens of jellyfish out of the water...SHAME SHAME SHAME. Rooms were refurbished as cheap as possible: wafer-thin doors enabling you to enjoy all corridor noise, no glasses or cups in the bathroom, a non refurbished terrace ... this is 3* NOT 5*. Breakfast: there is plenty of choice but low quality items, SELF SERVICE Coffee machines as in a staff canteen, even for water they do not have decent or clean glasses... Bar at reception looks nice, however service is 0*. A lot of staff and a manager in a suit does not make it happen. Dear Manager, Perhaps you are not the one who gave it 5 star. Dear owner, eighter you just want to cash as much as possible and make some people and families believe that you hotel is heaven - Please continue but in that case warn people before that they are in a good 2,5* eighter hire a professional mistery/misery guest with his wife and read his conclusions. We booked direct however I will not refrain on commenting to foreign tour operators when I see this property advertised as 5*.
