The Grand Hotel Timeo is truly one of a kind. From the exceptional service to the fantastic food, the experience here is truly unparalleled. Each time I come back I discover a new, more fascinating detail to fall in love with. This time I marveled at the view of snow-caped Mount Etna not only from the bedroom and stunning terrace but from the gym as well! Every interaction with both the front of house and restaurant employees was beyond exceptional. I particularly appreciated the time and effort spent with their Events & Banqueting Supervisor, Cristiana Storelli. I felt so well taken care of. I whole heartedly trust that every aspect of our wedding day will exceed our expectations. There is luxury service and then there is the service at the Timeo which goes above and beyond any hotel I’ve ever been.

This hotel is very expensive but you do get what you pay for. The rooms are superb - large, comfortable and (it might have been just my room) with a view over the town and towards Mount Etna to die for. Very helpful and hospitable staff. Lovely bar/terrace (sipping a Negroni watching the sunset over Mount Etna is highly recommended). Restaurant excellent (though I got a meal of nearly equivalent quality for less than half the price at a place recommended by the hotel on my second evening). Breakfast on the terrace was great. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
