Not a five stars hotel, sorry! We stayed 4 days in this hotel. The air condition was not working so we had between 24,5 and 26°C in our room. We asked for a solution the first day, but nothing was done. Telling us to open the window, when the mosquito season is not over, was their proposal. The bed was 140 CM wide, and we did not slept well. The breakfast is nice and the personal is kind. The area is quiet.

Overpriced for what’s included. The service was what I’d expect of a nice 3 star hotel. Certainly not worthy of 5 stars. The room we got was tiny, with barely enough space to move around the bed. Only one mirror in the room which was right against the bed, meaning that to get ready to go out you had to stand nose to nose with your reflection or stand on the bed. The air conditioning did not work at all. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. On one of the nights the light in front of the room door would not turn off. It had been fine, but they just stayed on all night despite every combination of buttons we pushed. Breakfast was €30 per person per day, which is far too expensive considering the room rates. The location is nice and quiet, and the mattress was comfortable. But otherwise it was a decidedly lacklustre experience. There are nicer 3 or 4 star hotels in Venice. Certainly much nicer 5 star hotels where you do get the experience that you pay for.
