Great hotel without all the drab, old Venetian interiors (dark wood and drapery). Location is fab and the rooftop bar is a must visit. Just wish they would continue to allow climate control in the room in the colder months. We LOVE a cold room when we sleep. The only way to achieve a modicum of that in November is to leave the windows open (they have screens thank gawd). We've been at this hotel at a warmer time and the AC worked great. They just switch it off at a certain point. Boo!

This review is for the terrace bar only. Tho the hotel does look lux & I bet the beds are super comfortable. The waiter is very sweet & efficient. View is magnificent, drinks and snacks excellent. Perfect place to have a spritz and watch the boat action on the grand canal. It does get busy, if you want a waterfront table come early.
