As a couple, our stay in Venice, Italy was nothing short of magical. The location itself was a dream come true. Venice is a city like no other, with its winding canals, charming bridges, and rich history. We were in awe of the beauty that surrounded us at every turn. One of the highlights of our trip was staying at the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel, which provided us with a perfect base to explore Venice. The hotel's location was exceptional, offering great views of the city and easy access to the main attractions. The fact that they had a hotel waterbus shuttle service was incredibly convenient, making it hassle-free to explore different parts of Venice. Inside the hotel, the themed rooms added a special touch to our stay. It felt like we were immersed in the Venetian culture and history. The check-in staff were not only welcoming but also very well-informed, providing us with valuable tourist advice and recommendations that enhanced our experience. One of the standout moments was the excellent buffet breakfast, made even more memorable by the singing waiter. It was a delightful way to start our days in Venice. However, we did notice that the cleanliness of the shower cabin could have been better. This was a minor issue, but it's worth mentioning for improvement. In summary, our stay in Venice at the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel was a fantastic experience. The location itself was a dream destination, and the hotel's amenities and service made our trip even more enjoyable. Despite a minor cleanliness issue, we would still rate our overall experience at 4 stars, primarily because of the hotel's incredible location in the heart of Venice.
The staff is completely exceptional. The room was big, smelled amazing, and it was clean. The history of the hotel was neat to see in the lobby area. It is a nice touch that the hotel does have a water taxi right out front, but we found ourselves buying an unlimited pass and using the water taxi due to the timing of the hotel shuttle. It is also nice that they have the "B" line that can drop/pick you up to and from the airport right on their dock. They do have a great breakfast spread. The negative side/disappointing is the Executive Lounge. For me, this was a complete underperformer for a Hilton. Options were limited, and they needed it, so they threw it in there. Plus, it is only open from 10 am to 7 pm. The gym must also be the weirdest hotel layout I have ever visited. Cardio is in one room, then blocked by a sign, so you must go to the other hallway for equipment. Half is upstairs, and the other is downstairs, hopefully, the video post. If you do not go when the spa is open, you have to go to other floors to come down to it. The other downside is the boats and being taken to Marco, where everything is, including food.
