Fabulous three night stay at the Palazzo Venart. The hotel was exquisite and in a great location (far enough away from the central tourist hub, but not too far to be a trek). Lovely courtyard garden, with a beautiful rear garden that backed onto the Grand Canal. The staff were all extremely attentive and friendly - they created an almost homely feel with their manner. The food from in-room dining to breakfast and dinner in GLAM was excellent. Highly recommend.

The staff are all diamonds from our wonderful welcome on the jetty to the room upgrade ( a classic with a massive balcony - thank you ) you made our stay so special and pampered us. Giacomo was a star even before we arrived with really rapid suggestions to all our queries on excellent nearby restaurants.|The wonderful Muro San stae was a star for pizzas and so bustly. |We have been to Venice more than half a dozen times but loved this location the most, as truly peaceful, with two gardens to read a book in or watch the grand canal, but easy to access everywhere. Spent a great morning exploring the works of Titian and Bellini in Basilica dei Frari ( only a 10 minute walk ) and every night we found a special surprise on our bed ! |Oh and there are 2 great vintage clothes shops only a couple of minutes walk and cafes across ponte de La rioda. |My one tip - book your dinner in Glam asap - we were too late. It’s small and intimate but the food looked incredible ( yes we peeped !!). Next time … |We have found a wonderful new home in Venice. Thank you.
