Beautiful relaxing accommodation with wonderful host, highly recommended! My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was excellent. The building is historic and beautiful but also comfortable and very calm and quiet. In the morning you are gently woken by birds and church bells, and a distant rooster and donkey. The location is good too with an easy walk to the churches and historic sites around town and amazing views from the garden. Best of all were the staff. Pietro was an incredible host helping organise transport, greeting us with a friendly tour of the historic building, tips on local sites to see etc and he speaks good English if required. The breakfast is good too - every morning we were treated to two homemade cakes from the house keeper.
The view is stunning. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The room was very clean and breakfast was delicious. I look forward to coming again for another visit to this magical little place in the hills. Be sure to ask about the megalithic walls! The staff is very knowledgeable about them!!
