After a 10+ hour drive, we decided to stop for the night. Based on the positive reviews we decided to stay at Relais Villa Ambrosetti and we were not disappointed. On the contrary, our expectations were exceeded by far! We travel a lot for work, but concerning hospitality, flair and heart, this place is second to none. You can feel in every corner how much love Maddalena and her family have put into the renovation and maintenance of the house. In the evening we were the only guests in the garden and enjoyed the sunset overlooking Verona with a wonderful apperitivo. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable and we were able to recover wonderfully for the upcoming trip home. However, the absolute highlight for us was the breakfast that was served in the garden! Everything was homemade. Delicious cakes, jams, quiche, bread, you name it. The breakfast team was extremely accommodating and read our every wish from our lips. When we left, the boss gave us pieces of banana bread to take with us on the way home. I can not remember the last time we have felt like home while traveling! A big THANK YOU for the wonderful stay! We'll definitely be back :)
We had the best time staying at Villa Ambrosetti! Madalena was so charming and caring, we felt as if we were at home! The breakfast was great, by far the best on our whole Italy trip! The villa is really amazing, nicely located on the hill top with a nice view of the surrounding nature. Number one place to stay when you're in Verona! Warm greetings from Germany :)
