I wish I could give 3.5 stars because the hotel has a wonderful and delicious breakfast. The staff are friendly and can speak both English and Italian. Also, the hotel is not too far away from the historic city or the train station. There is also air conditioning inside the rooms. But, it isn't the best thing ever. The hotel rooms are in serious need of updating. There was only one accessible outlet in the bedroom, so to charge another device we had to use the bathroom outlet. Also, the electric drying rack was not functional despite the staff assuring us that it was automatic. The mini bar in our room was not plugged in, and also there was no functioning outlet within reach of the fridge power cord. Also, our room, and several others, got an ant infestation midway through our stay. The staff did help us clean them away, but it was still kinda gross. Overall, great staff and restaurant. Decent bedrooms, but in dire need of an amenities update.

The rooms were ok. The mattress was on par for europe, hard. The whole place needs some updating for sure. The parking garage was flooding from the rain. But overall it was nice and dis the job. The views from the top floor were pretty cool. The breakfast was good but if you are vegan or vegetarian you may feel like it's lacking.
