I'm surprised there wasn't even a small charging port for my phone.. and I was very mad that the cleaning guy started making noise at 8 o'clock in the morning. .. Capsule hotels have people leave from 10 o'clock so they can clean. I paid for peace and quiet until 10 AM not to be in wake up by a guy running and sneezing in the hallway.with noisy sneakers. You ask your guests to be very quiet and respect the hotel.. and it's the employees that make the noise. But whatever I needed to sleep.
I was worried that the sleep pod may be too small as I am a little claustrophobic. It turned out to be clean and comfy, may be due to the curved design, great lighting and venting system? Be prepared that no cell phone usage or talking allowed (and no WiFi in sleep area, no water or drinks available in the hotel). The NRT location is great for brief layover but the facility looks a bit worn out, the pod I stayed had a loose screen door hook so it couldn’t hold the screen door reliably (made me feel uneasy during sleeping at night). Hotel clerk started cleaning and making loud noises hours before the checkout deadline, in a sense it is really 9hrs!
