It’s truly a shame. The view is amazing and facilities could be so great, but didn’t live up to expectations. In short, the cons: - Our jacuzzi didn’t work, which was the whole reason we booked this hotel and room - Poor AC in the rooms (we had junior suite and bridal suite and both were extremely hot). Also the AC hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. - Slow restaurant service: Breakfast took 1 hour to arrive - No privacy whatsoever from the junior suite, you can see from the parking lot directly into the toilet and to the room - Mold in the minibar - Outdated rooms which clearly could use maintenance The good: Wonderful view and closeness to the village. This place has so much potential if they would take better care of the facilities and ensure the service matches the expensive price. Full version: We booked the junior suite with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi didn’t work. They tried to fix it but didn’t work out. We said we’re happy to switch rooms. The only other matching one didn’t have AC working, so of course we couldn’t change. The junior suite was very outdated. The air conditioning was straight from the 80s, breezing in warm air along with the dust, the machine hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Minibar was moldy. Options from the shower was switching between ice cold and burning hot water. We lost running water and electricity a few times (seems to be normal for this area though). Breakfast wouldv’e been great but took 1 hour to arrive. Clearly the restaurant server hadn’t received any training at all. We were really gutted about the jacuzzi not working, it was the reason we booked this hotel. We complained five times, when in the end it couldn’t be fixed during the holiday, how did they handle when we asked for compensation? They tried to sneakily charge our credit card for the full amount before talking to us. When it didn’t work, they explained that the jacuzzi always has problems in this area. In the end after lots of back and forth we got 10% off. Not good enough but happy to be out of there. While the views are pretty, I can’t recommend this place to anyone, it’s just not worth the very expensive price.
