We wanted to travel to Madagascar this time and by chance we have come across the dream island Tsarabanjina on Google. Since the reviews were first class we booked the trip through our travel agency with flights from Ethiopian Airlines from Frankfurt via Addis Ababa to Nosy Be in Madagascar. When we arrived in Nosy Be we were picked up by a bus which took us to the landing stage of the speedboat. Immediately after arrival, the hotel manager Elena called us and greeted us warmly. The trip then with the speedboat from Nosy Be to Tsarabanjina takes about an hour. It was already a great feeling to drive with the speedboat over the Indian Ocean through this beautiful area in Madagascar. When we came closer to Tsarabanjina we already saw the dream beaches. We were welcomed by the staff who greeted us enthusiastically. The island has a north and a south beach. On the north beach the cottages are elevated and on the south beach directly on the fine sandy beach.we have already decided in advance for the south beach, because you could swim here without stairs directly in the sea. We had never experienced such a warm welcome. Immediately we were served a drink and Faneva briefly explained everything and accompanied us to our beach villa on the south beach. Our suitcases were meanwhile already brought by speedboat to our beach villa. The beach villa is simply furnished, with open shelves for the clothes, a dream bed with mosquito net, behind it a room with sink and shower and a toilet. We immediately felt at home, exactly what we were looking for. Likewise, the beach cottages have a large terrace with a sofa, chair and a table. The wonderful dream beach is about 10 meters away, at low tide just 5 meters further. Each beach cottage also has 2 sunbeds and a parasol. There is no need to get up early and reserve sunbeds. Likewise, each beach cottage has a hammock or a Hollywood swing. The island is a real paradise. If you need peace and quiet, this is the place for you. From the neighbors you hear no sound, no music and no engine noise, just pure relaxation. The sea is great for swimming and snorkeling. The water is turquoise blue, a real dream. The main building is in the middle between the south and north beach. At mealtimes you can walk in about 5 minutes over the stones between the south beach and the main building, at night or at high tide about 10 minutes over the sandy island paths. Everything can be walked barefoot and with beach shoes, socks are definitely not needed here. In the center of the island is the administration and the independent company Blue Wave Diving, where you can book additional excursions such as diving or whale watching, which we also booked. In September and October you can watch whales with their children jumping meters high out of the water. We had fantastic experiences here. Just an incredible feeling to see the rulers of the oceans right in front of your nose. Downstairs in the main building is a bar and lounge area where every evening the teams gave a presentation showing pictures and videos of the trips, which was very well received by the guests. Twice a week there was an African evening downstairs with live music and all the guests danced on the beach. Just wonderful, all perfectly organized with grilled food on the beach and salads. Upstairs was the first class restaurant. There was buffet for breakfast and lunch, and a la carte for dinner. The staff is first class trained and the service was perfect. The meals wait very tasty and excellently prepared.|The drinks and selected wines were also of the highest international level. The staff like Eric and Issa were perfectly trained and made this vacation a dream for us. Equally fantastic were the conversations every day with the hotel manager Gabriel and with Elena. One always had that one was not Nuer guest, but a welcome friend. All the staff on the island made our dream come true, including the staff in the background who were always fixing the rooms, clearing the paths of leaves or just refilling the drinks. With all employees with whom we have spoken, have reported only positive. The employees are well paid, get enough paid vacation and do not want to leave here. This island is a real paradise, everything left to nature and pure relaxation. We really lacked nothing. The farewell was then also relatively difficult, because it really felt like our new family. Also the return trip went smoothly. Because of this we decided to come back next year. A more dreamlike place for the 25th wedding anniversary cannot exist on this planet. Many thanks again for this experienced dream to Gabriel, Elena, Faneva, Eric, Mami, Teddy, Issa, Nazima, Jacob and Ball the other dear people where we were allowed to get to know and where we have grown to the heart, quasi our new family.
