Beautiful historic property situated just a short walk from the center of town and virtually next door to Diego Rivera’s childhood home. We were greeted by Alex and Karina, who took excellent care of us throughout the 3 nights we were there. They had cold towels and tequila shots waiting for us, both of which were a nice touch after a long day of travel. Thanks Alex and Karina!||Our room was lovely and comfortable with high ceilings, a nice spacious shower and all the amenities one could possibly want. The only downside to our room was that it sat right next to a walkway where the maintenance and housekeeping staff walked and talked and we could hear a fair amount of noise, but all in all, a great room. ||One final shout out to Paloma at the rooftop bar. We met her on her first day on the job. She was delightful and happy to help every time we returned for a cocktail. Thanks Paloma!
Only #13 in Guanajuato? This place was pretty spectacular. The service was excellent and the location couldn’t have been better. Get a balcony room and enjoy cocktails on the rooftop bar. Even breakfast (included) was good. Why not five starts? Our air conditioner want working - they let us know and offered to change our rooms for our second night- but frankly the room they upgraded us too was bigger and with two balconies so we stayed. Again: great service! Oh! And the pool small but perfect and cocktails served!
