Live Aqua SMA is an incredible place to stay for all the reasons you'd expect, the location is good, food is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, etc. Its the perfectly balances modern & trendy with the culture of San Miguel de Allende. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, rooms are cleaned every day. The grounds are immaculate and the food was all very tasty. Its not the most economical option but its certainly worth its weight in gold. ||What I'm here to rave about however, is the staff and their commitment to making your stay exceptional. I was due to fly in on a red eye and arrive early in the morning. I was already looking forward to the trip but a few hours before I was set to fly out I found out I was pregnant. I called the hotel and was connected to Daniel Ramirez, I explained my situation and asked if they would help me break the news to my husband. He was just as excited as I was and promptly started brainstorming. With less than 12 hour notice our room was outfitted with a crib and stuffed animal, a custom cake by the chef, and a personalized video playing on a loop. It was perfect. The whole day all the staff congratulated us and we were even gifted special desserts at restaurants. The attention and hospitality was unlike anything I've experienced and I appreciate it so much. ||Live Aqua is special. We'll definitely be back. |

This is such an over due review. It was a little over 2 month ago when we stepped to this beautiful property in San Miguel de Allende. As we all agree the first impression is crucial for a return customer. I conclude Live Aqua San Miguel de Allende did an excellent job on that! We were warmly greeted by Edwin, the Bell Man as we stepped out of our transport. Gabi at the front desk was very kind to upgrade us upon check in. |We were there to celebrate my special day. And the whole team did such an amazing job to ensure it was a memorable one. All their sweet gesture truly made this stay, one of the best ones yet. |We love the aesthetic and the concept of the whole property. Every corner was very inviting for a relaxation. |The restaurants, were amazing! We had wonderful meals in each one of their restaurants.|We would like to highlight Alberto, who made our breakfast experience a very enjoyable one, with his joyful attitude. Also Amir at Zibu, was always so kind and personable as well. ||The Spa however, was a little bit of a let down. Starting with the receptionist, They were not particularly warm compared to the whole hospitality experience we had overall at this hotel. The female’s locker room didnt smell good. It was not what you would expect from a higher end spa (it smelled like they had a sewage problem??). I couldn’t even stay in the steam room for a minute, because it smelt so bad, and it was not hot enough. Overall, its not such a great first impression for the space. |However I would like to highlight that Our aestheticians were great, and the locker attendant were also nice.||The pool was very beautiful. The setting was quite tranquil yet fun. Although the food service by the pool was not the best.||Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We’ll definitely consider going back and staying here again. It was our first time in San Miguel de Allende, and we had nothing but amazing things to talk about this beautiful historical city in Mexico. ||Muchas Gracias, Live Aqua team!!
