The Comfort Inn Tampico is a wery well located hotel as is in a key point. An interesting facts is almost in the middle of the cities of Madero and Tampico. The facilities are kinda neat and clean. There's a pool in the middle of the hotel that is nice very nice as itnis surrounded by some trees and green areas ( I didn't use the pool though ) The beds are very comfortable as well as the pillows, the room was very quiet ( we stayed at the 4th floor ) Now, here's some suggestions for the hotel management. Towels are very clean, however please use fabric softener as the smell of soap isn't very friendly. Stayed just one night and saw a couple of small bugs in the room coming out of the bathroom. The continental breakfast was the thing I less liked. Eat powdered eggs in Mexico isn't cool, that's one of the reasons I dislike the US hotel breakfasts. Also the orange juice, don't like boxed juice as well. Please make an effort on it. Or if you're offering boxed juice, have a good brand. The same as for the coffee, there's plenty of local vendors that can make a good option to offer. And last but not least. Breakfast closes at 10 am, we get there by 9am and the food bar was near to empty, that's not a good sign of service. That has been my experience at the Comfort Inn Tampico. Hope you find it useful and consider for a rate of $ 70 - 75 USD. Having said that, consider if the rate worth it.
