Booked through Agoda and customer service through Agoda is very helpful. Requested for Seaview room and it take note, upon checking in its reconfirmed my request is fulfilled. The view of room 7515 is amazing with infinite seaview. The Resort is very happening and huge which interconnected with the Marina Club and Pacific Sutera Harbour Resort. The swimming pool is very happening. A lot of restaurants within the resort, thus, outside food or food delivery through foodpanda or Grabfood is prohibited. The room package come with Snorkeling activity (9am-10am) only but too bad I cannot enjoy it. The room also complimentary 2 bowling games at the Marina Club. Marina Club comes with Olympic Size Swimming pool, squash, badminton, tennis, ping pong and Gym facilities. Breakfast variety is acceptable.

We stayed a week at the Magellan with our 2 kids - coming from Europe the Magellan had everything a perfect paradise resort is expected to boast in a very charming way with the best sunset spot ever as cherry on the cake ! The hotel structure has beautiful wood panels and the architecture is majestic but yet authentic - it creates a relaxing and soothing atmosphere that most modern resorts we visited could not offer. The location is perfect: best spot by the beach for instagram pics ( for those who do them) and best spot to get some adventures done ( for those who can’t stay still) . Diving, island hopping, fish and night markets in KK are super easy to organize and access - and for the bravest Mount Kinabalu climb ( my legs still feel the ascent ) is 2 hours away . The facilities pleased our two teens boys: pools , slides, water 🏀 , bigger pool, bowling, theater, The Marina club with the gym was great too - and the hotel has a spa as well. The breakfast is very good and offer the right amount of selections and we did not feel there was too much waste unlike in other 5 stars resorts … The restaurants were tasty with always this amazing view over the sea and the islands… What else !?!!
