I have a little bit of experience with hotels in this area. As I arrived, I purchased some nice laundry powder and some cleaning materials, and to be honest, I won't bother doing that next time, as I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby is clean, sleek, and freshly renovated. Arrived 20 minutes early and they were ready to let me go straight up. The elevator is renovated and new, the fresh hallways are regularly moped by courteous staff, and when I entered the room, I was quite happy to take a deep breath and smell nothing but the scent of fresh sheets. The room had a functional fridge new mattress, a working hot water unit, and a powerful extraction fan, which constantly draws fresh air into a room that would otherwise lack ventilation. Clearly, a lot of love has gone into the revamp of this building. The room gets dark, so dark that you can get the best kind of deep sleep. So refreshing, and the restaurant right next door serves great food. Want your own food? There's a supermarket just across the street in the mall. If you need to kick back and recharge your body battery, this may be exactly what you're after. This is a budget hotel. It is not pretending to be the Hilton. It is clean, comfortable, and functional, I think a must-see in the area is the botanical garden, just 400m away.
