Read most of the reviews on this property. And I concur with most of the points shared by other reviewers. So we came with well-managed expectations. This place functions more like an apartment than a hotel (without the typical hotel services like daily room cleaning etc). So it’s a self-sufficient type of accommodation. For the price and large room for bigger families in this location (10 mins walk to KLCC), I think it’s quite a value for money property. If the management can seriously look into the lift situation (biggest criticism) this would be such a great place to stay. CHECK-IN Strictly at 3pm. They will complete the cleaning of the rooms and begin the check-in at 3pm only. So don’t bother arriving way earlier because the lobby is small and tends to get crowded with families + luggages waiting to check-in. LIFT As most of the reviews have pointed out, this is a real issue. I think it’s a very solvable problem. The management really needs to look into hiring better lift technicians to properly calibrate the lifts to better serve the 48 levels. The 4 lifts are currently operating very very INEFFICIENTLY and non-intuitive. One option the management could look into is to have 2 lifts serve levels 1-20 and the other 2 lifts to serve levels 21-48. So not every single lift has to go all the way up to the top before making the slow decent down and - WORST OF ALL - stop at every single floor with frustrated people waiting for too long and can’t get in. TIPS: Try to take the lift during these timing- Before 10am, 1-3pm, 5-7pm and after 11pm. PARKING RM5 per entry. There are 2 machines at the lobby, 1 to stamp the parking coupon and the other to pay. Unfortunately one can’t pay the voucher in advance because once paid only valid for 15 mins. The management could consider removing the 15 mins grace period so hotel guest could just pay the parking earlier and leave anytime they want. This is also relating to the lift issue because one would have to make the extra trip up and down the lift just to pay for parking and get to the car. THIN WALLS The property is located beside Jalan Tun Razak that leads to KL’s main hospital. So you will quite often hear the sound of ambulances. We got the corner room which was a good thing as we can hear whatever that goes on in the corridor. But being in the corner also means we could hear the sound of traffic as well (not sure if higher floors have this problem as our room was on the 20th floor). If you are a light sleeper, do consider ear plugs ROOM (Double Studio with 2 Queen beds) The room is big, spacious and clean. Set-up is basic with all that a family would need (washer & dryer, iron, hair dryer, full kitchen, pan & pot, plates & cutleries, microwave, hoob, water filter dispenser, kettle, toothbrush, rooms slippers, coffee and tea). The shower doesn’t have a door, so the toilet floor gets wet everywhere. Would be nice if management could provide a floor mat to dry off after stepping out of bathroom. HOUSEKEEPING Important to note that they only do cleaning of the room every 3 days. Which was no biggie for us, just have to keep room clean and organised. TIPS: Use their WhatsApp function for your housekeeping needs the moment you get to the room like extra towels or fixing of room wi-fi. Because that’s the timing when the staff are busy cleaning up the room and available to respond to your requests. You can also request for change of towel through the WhatsApp. SWIMMING POOL The pool is actually quite nice. However pool towels are not provided. So you will have to bring your own towel.
