Rooms were very luxurious although the furniture is a bit dated. The bathroom was very large and spacious, with a bath as well. They also had evening service, which I thought was a nice touch for the hotel. The hotel pool was great, although not a lot of sunlight reaches the pool, even on a sunny day (which might be a plus for some). The service was moderate, did not feel that it was better than other 5-star hotels. The breakfast buffet, however, was top notch. The hotel is a bit far but still walkable to Pavilion.
It was absolutely surprising to have an amazing experience staying at RC. We are a well travelled couple and stayed in numerous five star hotels in KL, incl The Four Seasons and the W. And hands down Ritz Carlton has the best service and cozy rooms. The location is prime but it’s tucked away from the road and it’s such a quiet spot. The staff is on top of their game, extremely attentive and generous with compliments like evening deserts etc (absolutely loved it). I personally loved the room, the bathroom lights are very good for make up girlies. The mattress is a bit on the harder side so I would recommend bring your own pillow if you wish more comfort. While so many establishments degraded in service level after Covid, I can see that RC is following the highest standard to the day. It is refreshing to have a great service and attentive staff. I absolutely will be back to stay here!
