This is extremely convenient for Erasmus University which is why I stay there, but is not ideal if you want to explore Rotterdam. They did a recent renovation of the rooms and made some odd decisions. The bedrooms and bathrooms are dark with weird lighting. The bathrooms were clearly not designed by a woman. The overhead lighting in the bathroom is horrible and casts terrible shadows if you're trying to put on makeup. There is one knob to hang a single towel and that's it. They provide shampoo and body wash but no conditioner. One or more elevators has been out each time I've stayed there but luckily there are 3 elevators that serve each floor. On the plus side, their beds are comfortable, the hotel is clean, the showers are good, and the breakfast is excellent. I'm glad they have moved to free wifi since my last visit as that was a pain.

The breakfast is good, but next to us I didn't really understand what happened to a guest, it seems that he was not entitled to breakfast and a hotel employee embarrassed this guest in a very rude way, leaving all the gifts on the table without grace and asking him to drink coffee at the bar! I think there was a lack of guest-only guidance at check in and also employee education! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are large and the dinner goes without saying: wonderful 😋, parking is not free!
