Clean room, and fair size of the bathroom. Splendid breakfast, with a variety to eat and drink. Very good restaurant on the top floor. Good food and wine list. The price was worth it. The hotel is not located in the the absolute city center, but a nice stroll by the small lake to the city center, don't harm anyone :) Close to the art gallery museum, "KODE 3".

We had a fab stay at Scandic Ornen. Our room was high up and had fantastic views of Bergen on two sides - brilliant. The hotel staff were super, they gave excellent advice and were always polite. The room was very well-appointed, clean and it felt spacious and comfortable. Bergen itself is such a great city to visit - lots to do and see and we liked using the Bergen Card to see all the attractions we could fit in. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again - breakfast was magnificent with a huge array of items. It is just a short walk from the main station and the very reasonably priced tram to the airport but Bergen is also such a walkable city too. The train from Oslo to Bergen took us through some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen and after over 6 hours, the hotel provided very welcome comfort. Yes, we would stay again.
