I had a lovely start to my stay. The concierge and reception team were helpful; I was even told I had an upgrade for the night. Great! What they didn't say, however, was that the upgrade put me in what must be the noisiest room they have. Above the club downstairs, which didn't stop playing music until 3.30 am, and next to what I would guess is a laundry room or similar because machinery clunking started about 5.30 am. So, I had about 2 hours of sleep in total. The next morning, I noticed I didn't have a breakfast menu. I called reception to ask if the hotel had room service breakfast. They answered on my third try, but the employee didn't know. He called me back 10 minutes later to confirm they did but couldn't tell me anything about what they had. Needless to say, at this point, I gave up and went out for breakfast. Upon leaving, I asked the concierge if he could store my bag. He promptly said he couldn't help me because he had to go park a car and to go ask reception (where I had just been). I didn't love the tone, so I just left. Overall, don't expect any sleep at this hotel and certainly don't expect 5-star service as advertised on their website.

This was hands down one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed in. For our 1st Wedding Anniversary, we chose to do a "staycation" and chose Fable. The room was absolutely beautiful, well presented and very clean. They buzzed our door and gave us a beautiful card and chocolates to enjoy for our anniversary. Cookes restaurant was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed a drink each and some calamari. We enjoyed a jacuzzi the morning we checked out with water, extra towels and robes to put on after! The bed we had was the most incredible bed i have ever slept in. It felt like the bed was giving us a big cuddle! The only feedback I have is that the photos need updating as the toiletries in the rooms don't match what's on the photos and there were a couple of loose tiles in the jacuzzi which were a bit of a health and safety hazard. We also didnt realise you could hear the nearby club at night but thats why they supply ear plugs so it didnt bother us! Otherwise an absolutely incredible place to stay and we will be returning!
