We are currently in this resort where we paid significantly to stay here. When we arrive here we were told the only resturant will be closed as there was a staff party. ||All facilities of the resort is closed including the only resturant and no room service too, the music is blasting till latesuch that one cant even sleep. Next day they had a wedding and it was repeat of same... my little one was unwell and we had to go in search of food. |Which hotel does this to their guests who are paying a preminum to come and stay here during the peak holiday season without any warning!||Now about the rooms - yes they are big but badly appointed. Bathrooms have no shelves to put anything. There is no divide betwen the shower and sink. They whole bathroom floods up when one showers. Towels are left on the bed by the staff because there are no other place to put it.| Most rooms dont have lift access and the corridors are dark. Stairs are narrow and steep. All rooms habe partial sea view and the view is the same from both sea view rooms and Delux rooms. Cleanliness is a concern but if u are in the room and ask then to clean properly they will.||The resturant |Breakfast is a joke. There is no buffet. They serve you at the table. There are 4 options and portions are small. If you ask for fruits its additional charge.|The food by nature is very pricey. I asked for a latte with a double shot and they charged me Php 200 for the latte and Php 200 for a double expresso. When I questioned that initially they refused to chang, then when I rationalised that they are charging me for 3 shots of coffee and giving me two they charged me for one expresso at Php 160. Thats even more expensive coffee than Starbucks reserve. They say they are #1 resturant in all of Boracay, I really want to see that ranking. I asked them and they could not show me any proof. We hardly ate at the hotel, Discovery shores next door was much cheaper and eons better. Also there are stray cats everywhere in the resturant which I found very unhygienic. ||The little cost advantage that you get staying here rather than at hennan discovery and Lind you pay double the anount in food bills. |The Spa is a joke and double the price of the spa at Discovery next door.||Now the good:|1. Location location! Right on the white beach which is beautiful. Also its on station 1 near the cliff hence quite and more private|2. Room size - is big! So if you have kids who like to run around this is good|3. The resturant manager- was nice , polite and knowledgeable. ||My ovevrall humble opion. This place is equivalent to an American motel as long as you are payinv motel price and coming with similar expectations it will be fine. But this hotel is way more expensive and I explored the properties nearby, I would never book here again.||There are excellent youtube videos on the hotel please check before you book.
Everything about Ambassador in Paradise Resport is just perfect. Amazing service, polite staff, clean rooms and surrounding environment. Besides the physical property, the internet is great, the aircondition is also very good (cold as a fridge if you turn it all the way down for too long), and if you get a room with a desk you can easily have room for your laptop/workstation for remote work. I would still recommend you get a SIM card with roaming capablities as a backup, especially during your foot travels here in Boracay. Smart or Global are the go-to options here. The hotel is just infront of the beach, and reasonably close to restaurants, street food, and tourist spots. It also have a nice pool, which is very comfortable to swim in, and to just relax in.
