I stayed here before, just after covid restrictions relaxed. I could understand they need time to recover. My Canadian friend booked online because they had a gymnasium to exercise. On arrival, gym is closed, and still closed now. No hot water. First time i stay there, my room includes 2 adults and 2 children to swim in pool. This time, they tell me that all children cost 200 peso and adults 300 peso to swim in pool. I pay 1600 peso per night and can't even swim in pool without paying more? Forget it. Security? No safe, windows do not lock which can be accessible from next door rooms via outside balcony. No refrigerator. The breakfast they serve u is garbage. Reception will not pass message to other guests even when they say they will. Checking out, be prepared to wait while they scrutinise everything. They made me wait 40 minutes because there was a small chocolate stain on bed sheet and want to see if its stained. This last time i stayed there, there is a domestic water pump switching on and off every 30 seconds near my room. Sleep with that?. I asked to change rooms. They said yes but wouldn't change room. If they charged 500 peso for queen bed room, its worth it. Otherwise forget this place, it gets worse every time. The staff are friendly, but useless to help you with any issues. It looks good on internet, but you will regret staying here. At time of writing this, most places in davao have not recovered from financial stress of covid pandemic. Most hotel restaurants still closed so room service is non existence.
