We stayed at the Sheraton on Dec 26th to 28th and had such a wonderful time that I have to share our awesome experience in this review. The resort gives a very relaxing vibe and the positivity and engagement of the staff were clearly evident . The whole environment was just so apt for a chill holiday with many and varied activities for guests (e.g. pool aerobics, badminton, table tennis and water sports). The resort was operating at full capacity but service was still top notch with the resort's amazing staff who proactively went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Special shout out to the following staff: 1. Paolo Primacio of F&B - who ensured my food orders at the pool did not contain items I'm allergic to - who proactively and promptly brought ice cubes when he saw my husband was dishing out ice cubes from the water to put into his glass of beer without us asking for it - who promptly had extra tables brought for a comfortable pool lunch - who saw us at the 5 Cien restaurant at dinner and gave us drinks on the house 2. Jackie who during breakfast brought me freshly steamed puto, a Filipino glutinous rice delicacy. She waited until I had a bite and ensured it was to my satisfaction. 3. Alberto, pool lifeguard, who went out of his way and helped us find lounge chairs by the pool when we couldn't find vacant chairs and even brought extra chairs when our group expanded. 4. Johana at front desk reception who was more than happy to assist us with room transfer and moved us to a full ocean view room. 5. Service at the restaurants were very efficient , any requests addressed immediately. Staff were very polite and patient. We were impressed of top management (operations head and the resort's General manager) walking around busy times - during breakfast and lunch hours at the pool. This is really management by walking around (MBWA). Buffet breakfast was awesome, lots of items to choose from and constant supply of delicious mangoes, our favourite ; big selection of bread and pastries as well as Filipino delicacies. An ice cream man appeared at 3 pm to give out delicious homemade ice cream in a traditional Filipino ice cream cart. We also love the very spacious beautiful bathroom and the firm and comfortable beddings. Room cleanliness was top notch. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this resort!
