The room is okay. However, the room was not thoroughly cleaned. During our stay, upon check-in, we noticed that the floor still has dirt marks on it. We booked 2 rooms, however the second room was given 3 hours after the first one. There was also a greeting card in our room that belongs to another person. The pool is small, the view is not that great, and a lot of pool flooring popped off. The beach is good, however it has a lot of rocks, so wearing a shoes while swimming is recommended. The restaurant offers a limited number of dishes, and the place is a little bit small. So when having a breakfast you have to be extra early to get a seat. Overall, our stay is good, but a lot has to be improved.
Sham and the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. ||I had a great time at Savoy Mactan hotel in Mactan Newtown, where we stayed for 4 nights. The hotel had a convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy and clean. We enjoyed the jet ski adventure that we booked through the hotel. I would give the hotel 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Mactan.
